There comes a time in the whole process of becoming a pool owner when a guy shows up in your backyard and starts digging a hole. That would be Rob Hobaica, and boy, is he going to make you happy.

That's because his specialty is taking that design on paper and turning it into your very own pool. Rob has his hand in virtually every phase of the construction process, and not only does he work with his brother Dave and General Manager Mike Santel in coordinating each stage of your pool's construction, he's also the guy who operates much of the heavy equipment, like the excavator and the bob cat. Under his seasoned supervision, the entire construction crew runs like a finely-tuned sports car. This is most apparent during the crucial phase of pouring and forming the concrete, where Rob's keen eye makes sure that Dave's design is brought faithfully and beautifully to life. And as further proof of his devotion to complete quality control, he insists on personally overseeing the maintenance of all the heavy equipment himself. It's not that he has to, it's just that he wouldn't have it any other way. A graduate of Framingham State University, Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a number of engineering and building licenses. You might ask what all that means to you. Well, it all means that your pool is going to be around a for a very long time.

As for his interests outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, as well as traveling. And like the heavy equipment he takes care of on the job, he keeps his own machine in fine form by working out regularly.
